Happy 2010!
 I can't believe that it's 2010 already! It seems like just yesterday that we were all worried about the Y2K bug and now that was a full decade ago. That being said, there still isn't a consensus on what to call the years 2000-2009. The double naught's just didn't catch on.

Quirky Tradition
I'm curious about your New Year's quirky tradition. Ours is that we eat Moon Pies at midnight! It started as a joke about 7 or 8 years ago, but now no New Year's eve would be complete without a Moon Pie! Have one that you think is quirky? I'd love to hear about it.

Survey Says at New Mexico Bowl
 This holiday season we had the opportunity to perform for half a dozen holiday events. Survey Says was this years most popular show for the holidays. We even put on a show for the Players, Coaches and Staffs of Fresno State and Wyoming Universities, hosted by ESPN before the  New Mexico Bowl. The local news station and ESPN ran quick shots of the show during the game and on the evening news. Most of all - we got to meet some really great people.

 Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Game Show!
Sometimes we are surprised at how people want to use our services. We just got an inquiry about doing Survey Says at a wedding rehearsal dinner. We don't want to start a feud in the family so they're pitting the bridesmaids against the groomsmen! We think it's a brilliant idea and hope that we'll be doing more of them. Who do you know that could use some great entertainment?

How to save money on your next hotel stay!
ASK for a discount! That's right - just ask for a lower rate. We use the excuse that the company only pays for $75 a night and anything else has to come out of our own pockets. This usually creates empathy from the clerk. We've had many, many times that rooms that started out at $175 a night came down to as low as $50 a night - just because we negotiated at the desk.
TIP: make sure that other customers are not around while you're negotiating. If they are, the clerk is much less likely to lower the rate.
